Anastasia Joyeux Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anastasia Joyeux in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodley Marshall and Sara Joseph; and her sons, Gerald and Raymond Joseph. She is survived by: her spouse Melchiades "Melch" Joyeux; her daughters, Lorna Humber of New York and Merlene Humber of Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Nneka, Kweisi, Khalid of Trinidad, Cherryl Ann of New York, Jewelisa of California, Rafael of Arizona and Katrina of Oklahoma. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service (6210 NW Cache Rd, Lawton, OK 73505). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
