With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Edward Valdez Jr. (Lawton, Oklahoma), born in Cement, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Andrew Edward Valdez Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Martin Valdez and Ivarine Tiebo-Valdez; his brother Ronald Valdez (Woody); and his step-mother Neva Wooksook-Valdez. He is survived by : his children, Eddie Valdez (Stephanie) and Trena Valdez-Burch (Johnny); his grandchildren, Travis Burch, Hannah Valdez, Joslyn Burch and Jake Valdez; his friend Ray; his wife Joann Valdez; and his siblings, Mavadene Joslyn (Jerry) of Rochester, DellAnn Brammer (Kenneth) of Lawton, Frances Joslyn (Connie) of Lawton, Andrea Valdez of Oklahoma City and Darrell Valdez (Joyce) of Lawton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Prior to Covid, he met his friends every morning at the local McDonalds for coffee and all the latest news on the grapevine.
