He was predeceased by : his parents, James Seward and Fannie Seward; his great grandchild Julius Kiori Johnson Jr.; his siblings, Leroy Seward, Clarence Seward and Susie Seward; his daughter Sharon Johnson; his grandchildren, Tamika Johnson, Julius Johnson, Jamal Johnson and Christopher Johnson; his great grandchildren, Jasmaine Tillman Jr., Jay, La Sweeney, Julius Littles and Amiyah Tiddark; and his sisters, Mae Fouch and Zatella Seward.
