He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester R. Richards and Rhoma Richards (Day). He is survived by: his siblings, Chester Ray, Annetta and Janice; his wife Mary Joan Wells; his sons, Wayne Dale and Michael Ray (Terri); his friend Stanley Brown; his daughters, Brenda Ivey (Jim), Vicki Bauer and Judy Jones Smith; his grandchildren, Jason Bunzel, Taylor Richards (Heather) and Madison Aust; his great grandchildren, Kiern Bunzel, Tommy Bunzel, Samantha Bunzel, Syndey Richards, Miles Richards and Timothy Richards; and his great great grandchildren, Jason Ray Bunzel and Violet Bunzel.
A procession will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 8:30 AM. The military honors will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (900 Donnelly Rd, Lawton, OK 73503).
