He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Sam Bass and Ruby Laverne Broxson (Winchester); his son John Bass; his siblings, Darlene Gwartney, Jodie Lewis, Karen Phelps and Charlie Bass; his daughter Janette Bass; and his grandson Jackson Peace.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Carney (Tim) of Chouteau, Tammy Carte (Mike) of Locust Grove, Jeremy Bass (Melanie), Michelle Jones (Tate) of Disney and Skeeter Williams (Luke) of Peggs, Oklahoma; his siblings, Carolyn Hayter (David) of Broken Arrow, Robert Bass (Shelly) of Scio, Steven Bass of Ontario and Carl Bass of Bakersfield, California; his wife Denise "Mouse" Thrash; and his brother Robert Hayter (Cliff Warford). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Locust Grove Funeral Home (608 Joe Koelsch Dr, Locust Grove, OK 74352). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Exciting Southeast Baptist Church (432 E 530, Pryor, OK 74361).
