It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Raymond Hughes of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Evelyn Rapp (Walker) and James Bailey Hughes; and his parents-in-law, Myrna Kelley and James Smith. He is survived by : his wife Terrie Hughes (Smith); his children, Melissa Harjo and James Hughes; his son-in-law Reuben Harjo; his grandchildren, Jayden and Aubrielle Harjo; and his siblings, Bill Hughes, Jon Wells, Kathy Strickland, Beverly Thompson and Karen Day. He is also survived by aunts; cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
