He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Courtney and Bernice Courtney (Simmons); his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Ann Rush; his sister Mary Potts; and his grandson Jimmie Barnett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Courtney of Siloam Springs and Mistie Barnett (Michael) of Peggs, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Shannon Barnett (Billie), Emilie Proctor (Randy), Bobbie Hernandez (Javier) and Brandie Blevins; his great grandchildren, Jessica, Fenix, Ashley, Aerlin, Arieanna, Annie, Weston, Michael, Sunnie, Paislee, Tatum, Nicky, Jazmyn and Erik; and his pets, Chi Chi and Pablo. He is also survived by pets, but his devoted companions and guard dogs; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
