It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Don Brown (Healdton, Oklahoma), who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Brown and Bertha Brown; his daughter Tammy Brown (Farmer); and his parents-in-law, Fred and Lillian Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Kelly Allen (Terry), Missy Ross (Joey) of Lone Grove and Jeffrey Brown (Melissa) of Davis; his grandchildren, Dustin Farmer of Milo, Lacey Davenport (Chanse) of Davis, Heather Fox (Shane) of Lone Grove, Colton Allen of Davis, Hannah Meldau (Cody) of Lone Grove, Jaley Lawson (Hunter) of Ada, Lane Ross of Lone Grove, Jared Brown (Rylie) of Shawnee, J. T, Allen of Ardmore, Carson Allen of Springer, Jordan Brown of Ada, Ryder, Cooper Davenport, Reed, Kade Fox, Lilly Meldau, Everett Lawson and Kaylynn Brown; and his siblings, Bettye Hendricks, Gaylene Dewbre, Loyce Dean and Jack Brown.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel (65 Golf Course Rd, Healdton, OK 73438). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church (16773 US Hwy 70, Lone Grove, OK 73443).
