He was predeceased by: his parents, George Columbus Colson and Beatrice Colson (Blair); his son Christopher Colson; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Broadie, Harold Clopp and Roger Sandwith.
He is survived by: his sons, George Colson (Jinkyoung) of Guyton and Nathan Colson (Kim) of College Station; his sisters, Barbara Broadie of Ada, Sharon Sandwith of Friday Habor, Janice Clopp of Granite and Nancy McGavock (Jerry) of Granite; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Elisah, Chloe and Chelsea.
