He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Coy and Naomi Coy (Aldridge); his wife Claudia Coy (McClung); his son Larry Coy; and his sisters, Georgie, Mattie and Opal.

He is survived by: his children, Barry Coy of Elk City, Barbara Bartholomew (Keith) of Carter and Lynda Erickson (Larry) of Denton; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Coy of Georgetown; and his sister Jean Cain Miller of Elk City. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
