She was predeceased by : her parents, Sim Timothy Barrett and Della Collins Barrett; her siblings, Velma Mae Barrett, Thelma Jane Barrett, John David Buck Barrett, Marvin Abram Barrett, S. T. Lester Lee Barrett, Charles Ray Barrett and Buster Barrett; and her daughter Betty Faye Veach.

She is survived by : her spouse Leslie A. J. Veach; her children, Wayne Veach (Sheryl) and Janie Campbell (Patrick); her grandchildren, Shadyll English, Kevin and Virginia Jo Rhoades (Haywood); and her great grandchildren, Katelyn Randolph, Matthew Rhoades, Jonah Rhoades and Wayne Andrew Veach. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
