She was predeceased by : her parents, Faye Walling Wharton and John Henry Wharton; and her husband Gene Caffey. She is survived by : her children, Margene Caffey, Jolaine (Donnie Smith) and Lee Caffey; her grandchildren, Zac Caffey of Mangum, Austin Caffey of Mangum and Lainee Caffey of Mangum; and her siblings, Kathryn Wharton of Washington, D. C., James H. Wharton of Baton Rouge, LA, Nancy Drummond of Chickasha, OK and Sam Wharton of Victorville, CA..

Margaret was a member of the Methodist Church in Mangum and, in lieu of flowers, Margaret would appreciate donations to the church to help pay for the repair of the stained glass windows.
