He was predeceased by : his parent Lee Desmond Sheward; and his siblings, L. D. Sheward, G. W. Sheward and Naomi Buck. He is survived by : his wife Leona Jo Tinsley; his children, Rick Sheward (Shirlene) and Debbie Shepherd (Darell); his granddaughters, J. J. Sheward and Kathy Dobbins; his great grandchild Kyler Dobbins; and his sister Nina Blasingame.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the First Baptist Church in Mangum or The Lions Eye Bank of Oklahoma, or a charity of your choice.
