He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Garrett and Norene Garrett (Gray); his wife Mary Garrett; and his siblings, Fred Garrett and Bonnie McCall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bonita Brakefield (Steve) of Wayne and Diana Brooks (Mack) of Blanchard; his sisters, Velma Little of Wayne and Velta Johnston of Yukon; and his grandchildren, Cindy Stone (Rick) of Maysville, Sherry Archer (Jim) of Norman, Darla Turner (Chad) of Blanchard, Tommy Brakefield (Libby) of Purcell, James Brakefield (Kelsie) of Wayne and Cody Brooks (Scheana) of Blanchard. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren along with a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home (127 S Canadian Ave, Purcell, OK 73080). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Little's Chapel (127 S Canadian Ave, Purcell, OK 73080).
