Al Jacques Horton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Al Jacques Horton in McAlester, Oklahoma, born in Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phoebe Helen Horton (Byars) and William Wesley Horton; his sisters, Francis Goodman and Ruth Cooper; his parents-in-law, Abe and Bertie Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Kilgore, David Smith, Bill Bivens and Geneva Bivens.
He is survived by: his close friends, Marie Ricks and Jim Pettigrew; his wife Lona Horton; his daughter Stacey Kay (Jimmy Camp); his siblings, William Max Byars Horton, Dene Kilgore and Bettye Bunch (Ken); his grandson Joey Kuykendall; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Easton Kuykendall, Lane and Kaden Teafatiller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of McAlester.
