It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey McCauley of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward August and Georgia Leota Jacobson; her husband Dr. Joe W. McCauley, Sr.; her sons, Joe W McCauley, Jr., Mark McCauley and Matt McCauley; and her granddaughter Lauren McCauley.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jon McCauley (Debbie) of McAlester and Karen McCauley (Vicki) of Eufaula; her daughter-in-law Sharon McCauley of Yukon; her grandchildren, Melissa McCauley of Oklahoma City, Kati Vaughn (Cory) of McAlester and Kyle McCauley of Oklahoma City; her great grandchildren, Ashton McCauley of Oklahoma City, Gunnar Vaughn of McAlester, Saylor Vaughn of McAlester and Sawyer Vaughn of McAlester; her sister Shirley Thornbrugh of Bartlesville; and her sister-in-law Frankie McCauley of Carlsbad. She is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Needy Fund or Shared Blessings.
