She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Hoyt and Ruth Hoyt (May); and her siblings, June Hoyt, Flossie Henry, Delores Sanders, Elsie Tacy, Loretta Fannie and Ellis Hoyt.
She is survived by: her husband Frank DeNike, III; her son Sean DeNike (Deana) of McAlester; her grandchildren, Nicholas Mink of Los Angeles, Brandon DeNike of Siloam Springs, Jeffrey Mink of Princeton, Kayla DeNike of Fayetteville and Samuel DeNike (Erin Floyd) of Winfield, Kansas; her great grandchildren, Kylie and Haley; and her sisters, Liberty Brown (Tom) of Lake Port and Anna May Hutchins of Keene. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and a host of friends.
