He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fredrick Todd and Nannie Belle Todd (Shatley); his wife Dorothy Todd; and his brother Ed "Elmo" Todd, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Carl Cecil Todd, Jr., Tanya of Quinlan, Dottie Tubbs (Tommy) of Whitewright, Carla Johnston (Dale) of Sasakwa and Aaron Todd (Marina) of Stuart; and his siblings, David Todd of Washington, Mary Hicks of California and Margaret Todd of California. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
