With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Lyle Friestad of McAlester, Oklahoma, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Friestad and Clara Friestad (Thorson); his brother-in-law Bill Bounds; his siblings, Fern (Dutch Dippel), Doris (Jack Jones) and Everett "Bud" Friestad; and his brother-in-law George Johnson.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Jordan Renner, Zac Friestad, Paul Bishop, Woodrow Hall, Pat Lewis and Keith McCullar; his friend Restaurant; his wife Florence Friestad; his children, Julie Renner and Mark Friestad (Melanie); his granddaughters, Jacquelyn Renner and Ava Friestad; his brother Robert "Bob"; his sister-in-law Sharon Friestad; his sisters, Lois Bounds and Darlene Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Friestad of Illinois, Louise, George Carter of California and Alice Hawes of Oklahoma.
