He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thompson and Lillian Thompson (Cobb); his wife Shirley Thompson; his sister Dorothy Adams; his brother-in-law Jim Prater; his niece Gina Miller; and his great grandchild Sophia Martinez.
He is survived by: his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law LaWanna Thompson; his grandchildren, Blake Thompson, Maranda Martinez, Breana Thompson and Hannah Whitlock; his great grandchildren, Ella Martinez, Wyatt Martinez, Paxtyn Austin, Harper Thompson and Addalee Leibfried; his siblings-in-law, Ed, Carolyn Debrosky, Pat Prater, Marilyn Thompson and Joyce Thompson; and his close friends, Jerry London, Kenneth Teague and Donnie Rowell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
