He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Harrison Winesburg and Edna Helen Winesburg-Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Sammye Winesburg; his children, Elbert W. H. Winesburg, Jr. (Amanda) of Tulsa, Amber Bertagnole (Adam) of Windsor, Colorado, Jacob Winesburg (Stephanie) of Eufaula and Lindsey Jacks (Chris) of Cheyenne; his brothers, Michael Winesburg of Henryetta and Mark Winesburg (Vicki) of Owasso; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Mitchell (Ben) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
