It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmitt Henson of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Leonard and Flora Henson (Dement); his wife Dortha Jean Henson; and his siblings, Harvey Henson, Leonard Henson, Johnny Henson, Clara Holt, Flossie Boggs, Alice Dollar, Bessie Brister and Wilma Faye Akins.
He is survived by: his daughter Vivian Arnold (Nick); his grandchildren, Keith Comley (Kameri) of McAlester, Rachel Morris (Glenn) of McAlester and Nicholas Arnold (Andrea) of McAlester; and his great grandchildren, Christy Granneman, Angela Comley, Aryiana Comley, Laila Granneman, Ryan Arpoika, Charleigh Comley and Brooklyn Holden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
