He is survived by: his wife Patsy Lou Gatewood; his children, Jerry McElhany (Margie) of McAlester, Leonard "Bud" McElhany (Vickie) of Peculiar, James McElhany (Melissa) of Branson, John McElhany (Cheryl) of High Hill and Tammy Fagundes (Allan) of High Hill; his grandchildren, Joshua McElhany (Sarah), Jeremy McElhany, Ashley McElhany, Jeffrey McElhany (Anna), Jason McElhany (Desree), Justin McElhany (Amanda), Daniel McElhany, Jonathan McElhany (Laura), Jarod McElhany (Kayla), Kevin Browne (Jodi) and Stephanie Hall (Jaron); and his sister Marilyn Slotta of Bache.
