It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim G. Gibson (McAlester, Oklahoma), who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Gibson and Winnie Katherine Gibson (Pope); his wife Marie Selman Gibson; his son James David Gibson; his grandson Christopher Lampkin; his sisters, Ada Lusk, Viola Blevins and Clara Blevins; and his parents-in-law, J. D. and Millie Selman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janie Gibson Lampkin, Debbie Workman (Fred) and Althea Johnson (Doug); his grandchildren, Jim D. Gibson (Kim), Jana Oliver, Angela McElhaney (Dave), Randy Lampkin (Gareth), Casey Price (John Robert), Dana Workman, Laticia Workman (J. R. Hightower), Tabatha McGee (Shaun), Dixie Reagan, Daniel Johnson (Lori) and Melissa Coffman (John); and his great great grandchild Caldonia Choate. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
