He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Mae Akin Howell; and his brother George T. Howell. He is survived by: his daughter Bettye Pfau of Cabiness; his son-in-law Albert Pfau of Cabiness; his grandson Jeremy Miller (Maliche) of Cabiness; and his great grandchild Callie Mae Miller of Cabiness.
