He is survived by: his wife Faye Autrey; his children, Susie Zummer, Shari Britton, John Newman, Jr., Mark Newman, Diane Graham, Elaine Thomas and Dennis Autrey; and his siblings, Betty Lou Seale, Inez Johnson and Odie Lee Newman, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
