He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burnett DeLaune and Beatrice DeLaune (Edwards); his wife Barbara Durbin; his children, John Murphy (Jenna) and Kimberly Mitchell (John Allen); his granddaughter Averie Mitchell of Hugo; his siblings, Joe Paul DeLaune (Betty) of Haywood, Mary DeLaune of Shawnee and Terry Butler (Jeff) of Roland; and his brother-in-law Don Moll of Houston, Texas. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
