He is survived by: his wife Deborah Shannon; his children, Karolyn Smoot (Fred), Johnny Shannon (Monica), Jimmy Pingleton (Ginger) and Geneva Miller (Freddy); his daughter-in-law Tina Shannon; and his sister Pattsy Shannon Londsdale. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
