She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Jeffery Newport; her grandsons, James Barton, Justin McCraw, Daniel Harmon, Joshua Newport and Michael Newport; her son-in-law Jim Barton; her parents, Jefferson Silmon and Millie Pope; her husband John Newport; and her children, Ronnie Silmon, Nancy Barton (Jim) of McAlester, Ann McCraw of Tulsa, John Newport of McAlester, Henry Newport, Paul Newport (Sherry) of Bache, Bill Newport (Cynthia), Mary Harmon (Randy) of Grapevine, TX and Larry Newport (Ngoc) of Oklahoma City. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family and friends.
