It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Thomas of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Blackwell and Clarice Blackwell (Whiteside); her husband Buron W. Thomas; her siblings, Jim Blackwell and Doris Bullard; and her son-in-law Bill Salyers.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Thomas (Joyce) of Shady Point and Lyn Salyers of McAlester; her grandchildren, Bradley Thomas (Betty), Janet Burns (John), Jill Vogel (Denis), Kevin Thomas (Amy), Jennifer Barnes (Jason), Natalie Hamilton (Andrew), Anthony Salyers (Tamara), Justin Thomas (Chris) and Heather Burton (Charlie); her great grandchildren, Taylor Kathryn Cash, Kaylie Garrett (Brody), Emmalyn Smith (Hunter), Caden Salyers, Treyton Salyers, Hunter Salyers, Heaven Mattox (Justin), Caitlyn Thomas, Addison Thomas, Jordan Loyd, Jayda Burton, Blaze Burton, Callie Ann Thomas, Kelsey Thomas, Brinley Thomas, Andrey Thomas, Meaghan Burns, Madilyn Burns, Ashlyn Langford, Gage Langford and Briar Langford; her great great grandchildren, Jayden Cash and Lily Kate Smith; and her pet Cindy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members; and her special pet.
