It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kimberly Burkheiser of McAlester, Oklahoma, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Buxbaum; her stepfather James Herman; her brother Ken Buxbaum; her husband Thomas Burkheiser; and her grandparents, Chester, Verlie Born and Lois Buxbaum.

She is survived by: her mother Patricia Buxbaum (Born) of McAlester; her sons, Patrick Burkheiser of McAlester and Dale Burkheiser of Austin, TX; and her sister Shannan Wilcox of McAlester.
