It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucian Jack Compton of McAlester, Oklahoma, born in Konawa, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Leonard and Blanche Maye Compton (Davis); his daughter LaDonna Kay Phillips (Compton); his son-in-law Dean Phillips; his sister Doris June Clemente (Compton); his brother-in-law Dan Edward Clemente; and his parents-in-law, Ivel and Caroline Swearengin.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Laveda Compton of McAlester; his daughter Sonya Dee Stone (Kevin) of McAlester; his grandchildren, Lacy LaDonna Lesnau (Nathan) of McAlester and Hailey Gayle Pinson (Brandon) of Edmond, OK; his great grandchildren, Caden Lesnau, Rylan Lesnau, Bryson Pinson and Presley Pinson; and his brother Leonard Compton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
