It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Sanders of McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark Sanders to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sanders and Floy Sanders (Akin); and his brother Tommy Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Sue O'Brien; his children, Renea Brown (Steven) of McAlester and Jason Sanders (Rebecca) of McAlester; his stepson Jonathon Robinson of Finley; his daughter-in-law Megan Rumsey of Savanna; his grandchildren, Blaine Brown, Collin Sanders, Cydnee Brown, Austin Rumsey and Holden Sanders; his siblings-in-law, Thomas O'Brien (Karen) of McAlester and Debbie Sanders of Oklahoma City; and his friends, Greg, Janie Armstrong, Mark, Teresa Moy, Jim and Etta Williamson. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Fire Department.
