He is survived by: his wife Loretta Atkins of McAlester, OK; his sons, Christopher (Miranda Atkins) and Joshua Trey (Dawn Atkins); and his brother-in-law Clifford Penfield of Campobello, S. C.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and a sister.
