It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Cox (McAlester, Oklahoma), who passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Thomas and Mary Martha Cox (Ward); and her brothers, Bobby Joe Cox, Albert J. Cox (Ab) and Kenneth Cox.

She is survived by: her siblings, Jerry Cox (Genie) of McAlester, Leona Thomas (Ronnie) of Oklahoma City, Raymond Cox (Linda) of Ulan, Ralph Cox of Ulan, Frank Cox (Jeannie) of Indianola and Frances Lusk of Indianola; and her sister-in-law Ramona Cox of Ulan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
