She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert McCaslin and Nettie McCaslin (Adams); her husband Arthur Leon Compton; and her siblings, Edyth McCaslin, Mildred Hodge, Freda O'Day and Vencil McCaslin.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Wingo (Jim) of McAlester and Rick Compton (Cathy) of Scipio; her grandchildren, Ashley West (Jeff) of Indianola and Hillary Tripp of Tannehill; and her great grandchildren, Riley West, Turner West, Janson West, Joey Lynn Steele and Colter Steele. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
