With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Otto Beard (McAlester, Oklahoma), who passed away on May 16, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. B. Beard and Carrie Beard (Winter); his siblings, Carl, Kirby, Les Beard and Viola Clifton; and his nephew Danny Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Beard of Scipio; his children, Katherine Beard Hall (Mark) of Hartshorne, Willie Beard of Scipio, Terry Stewart (Karen) of Morris, Tanya Jones (Jim) of McAlester, Karen Stewart of Indianola and Dean Stewart (Jennifer) of McAlester; his sister Mattie Franks of Denton, Texas; his grandchildren, Darrion Brown, Jada Jackson, Olivia Jones, Isaiah Beard, Chase Trumbley, Reagan Collier, Allye Stewart, Trotter Stewart, Chastity Little Axe, Kara Garcia, Brittany Stewart, Gia Elfers, Jett Elfers, Tyler Cravines, Paige Stewart, Asia Stewart and Nicholas Stewart; and his sibling's children, Karrie Valenzuela of Denton, TX and Mike Beard (Lisa) of McAlester. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; along with many other nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
