With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Nelms (McAlester, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 9, 2018 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his uncle Steve Nelms; and his grandparents, Christine Nelms, Ray Nelms and Barbara "Babe" Meyers. He is survived by: his father Billy Ray Nelms of McAlester; his son Vance Nelms; his grandchildren, Jayden of Stigler and Kolbey of Stigler; his sister Rhonda Burns of Broken Arrow; his nieces, Savana Gooding of Hartshorne and Alix Gooding of Broken Arrow; his cousin Jeremy Nelms of Longtown; and his brother-in-law James Gooding. He is also survived by friends whom he considered his brothers and sisters.
