It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharlet Jane of McAlester, Oklahoma, born in Buffalo, West Virginia, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Runyon and Marie Runyon-Cummings (Legg); her former spouse Alva Johnson; her husband Johnny Clifton White; her son John Johnson; her stepfather Jesse Cummings; her stepson James White; her siblings, Judy Mayo and Anthony Eugene Runyon; her half-brother Jessie James Cummings; her brother-in-law Alan Rugenstein; and her nephew Jesse Dillon Runyon.
She is survived by: her children, Alva Johnson, Lisa of West Virginia, Sandra Johnson, Benny Allen of McAlester, Sharon Blood and Richard of Ohio; her stepchildren, Dennis White, Jeri of Tannehill, Jeannie Santino, Joe of McAlester, Buster White, Barbie of McAlester, Glenn White, Angel of McAlester, Bobby White and Vanessa of Canadian; and her siblings, Rita Rugenstein of Michigan and David Runyon of Arizona. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
