He is survived by: his parents, Bessie Mae Sam and Virgil Lee Sam of Albion; his siblings, Douglas Sam of McAlester, Dianne Sam of McAlester and Nellie Meashintubby (Harold Meashintubby, Sr.) of McAlester; his uncles, Charles Sam of McAlester and Marvin Sam of McAlester; his aunt Lousie Mitchell of Wilburton; his siblings' children, Kelli Sam, Verna Ashalintubbi, Alena Ashalintubbi, Faith Woody, Tasha Horn, Harold Meashintubby Jr. and Nathaniel Meashintubby; and his friends, Vickie Ford and Terry. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, and other loved family and friends.
