He was predeceased by: his parent Buel; his grandparents, George Allen, Lizzy Kerns, Jim and Ella Mason; his siblings, Gerald Kerns and Gloria Carney; his brothers-in-law, Larry Romine and Calvin Carney; and his nephews, Terry Lee Romine, Jaelon Kerns and Randy Kerns.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly; his son-in-law Zane Box; his son David; his daughter-in-law Lorie Kerns; his grandchildren, Jacob Box, Cameron Box, Lynnsie Kerns, Brandt Kerns and Lauren Kerns; his great grandchildren, Abby Box, Paislee Box, Asher Box, Mylee Box, Xander Box, Eli Box, Dallon McLeary, Izabella Kerns, Aleigha Whitley and Brooklyn Boswell; and his siblings, Dwight L. (Evelyn Kerns), Ricky Buel (Pam Kerns), Joel Keith (Darcy Kerns), Naomi Ruth (Ronnie Romine), Darlene Romine and Gail Kerns (Mike McGirt). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
