With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Paulene Buford (McAlester, Oklahoma), born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 18, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Albert and Carrie Mae Chitty Jackson (Schubert); her brother Henry Chitty; her husband Lloyd Edward Buford Sr.; her brother James Chitty; and her grandparents, Harve Sansing, Mary Frances Schubert, Miles A. Chitty and Cynthia McKenzie Chitty.

She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Edward Buford Jr. (Jan) of Wagoner, OK, Regena Mae Bigg (Bob) of Morrill, NE, Anita Kae Burns (Tim) of McAlester, OK and Paula Sue Buford of Sterling, CO.; her sisters, Reba Gates Ft and Novelle Ferguson of Ft. Gibson, OK.; her grandchildren, Amy Lakeman, Ryan Buford, Michael Buford, Daniel Bigg, Carrie Long, Jarred Bigg, Tim Burns Jr., Sabrina Miller, Chris "Topher" Burns, Jay Benson and Levi Benson; and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Parker, Lauren, Eddie, Kaden, Conner, Logan, Kennedy, Mason, Kaia and Maescen.
