He was predeceased by : his parents, Nye Severns and Pearl Shaw Severns; his sisters, Clare Martz, Nora Carson and Ellen Grimes (Cathy Severns); and his son Charles Franklin Severns, Jr..

He is survived by : his daughter Julie Henderson (David) of Paoli, OK; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Holland of St. Louis, MO, Tristan Chapell of Oklahoma City, Audrey Linker of Norman, Cole Severns of Midwest City, Ross Severns of Yukon, Casey Severns of Oklahoma City and Tenley DeLong of Winter Park, FL; his friend Yone Murphy; and his wife Patsy Fuller Barrow. He is also survived by great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130).
