It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Simone Gale Boyd (Milburn, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hertel and Ella Kathryne Hertel; her brother Johnny Paul Hertel; and her sister-in-law Retha Hertel. She is survived by : her significant other Bill Boyd; her daughters, Lisa (Gary Whitmire), Leelie (Greg Hughes), Lynna (Clint Freeman) and Larissa Pittman; her grandchildren, Amber, John, Liegha, Casie, Landon, Lynne'a, Hayden and Ciera; and her siblings, Kirby Hertel, Sonja Hamilton (Dan) and Romona Hoskins (Johnny). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Every year at the Reaching Out Fish Fry fundraiser Simone could be seen volunteering to help cook or serve and the family would like to carry on that legacy by asking everyone to make a donation in her name to the Reaching Out program in Tishomingo in lieu of flowers.
