He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cape and Virginia Cape; his son Troy Cape; and his siblings, Carolyn Ramsey and Chester Cape.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Cape of Moore; his grandchildren, Jake McCurry of Moore, Michael McCurry (Rebecca) of Moore and Leslie McCurry of Norman; his great grandchildren, Troy, Trevor, Braighlynne, Emerson and Emberlynn; and his sister Corrine Burkhart (Sonny) of Oklahoma City.
