He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn Garcia; his daughter Carmen Garcia; and his siblings, Tonia, Sylvia, Gabby and Jesus.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Garcia; his children, Jose Escamilla, Cari Garcia and Samuel Garcia (Ally); his stepchildren, Gary Grissam, Daniel Escamilla (Nancy), Lorena Alvarado (Paco), Juan Escamilla (Lara) and Jesus Escamilla; his sisters, Rosa Garcia, Carman Garcia and Irene Garcia; his grandchildren, Noe Escamilla, Renia Buckley (Tyson), Abraham Escamilla, Carli Garcia, Cailyn Garcia-Grissam and Jason Grissam; and his great grandchild Aiyana Buckley.
