He is survived by: his wife Lawanda Dorris (Smith); his children, Sammie Knight, Bryan Adams and Freedom Smith (Barry); his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Keaton, Jaden, Kylee, Logan and Blake; and his siblings, Barbara Milligan (Jimmy) and Jackie Hillard (Mike). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
