He is survived by: his siblings, Cordelia and Mintha Ruth Green Kirby; his wife Sophia Jolly; his sons, Herman III (Gennie) and Raymond (late Shanonne); his family, Herman and Heavenly; his daughters, Sharon Payton (Fontayne Sr.), Paula Rene Rahmaan (Master W.) and Pamela Miller (Andrew); his grandchildren, Herman IV, Kevin Williams (Diana), Brittany Williams, Tre'Von Kirby, Te'ja Kirby, Fontisha Payton and Fontayne Payton Jr.; his great grandchildren, Jasmine Williams, Jaspar Williams, Zhane Williams, Messiah Williams, Isaiah Williams, Kayne Kirby, Kayden Kirby, Koda Kirby and Chimere Onyenegecha; and his sisters, Ataloa Leffall and Floretta Reed. He is also survived by nieces, great nieces, great-great niece, great-great-great niece, nephews, great nephews, great-great nephews and friends.
Due to the onset of Alzheimer, Pamela and Drew relocated to Oklahoma and Herman lived with them until he transitioned from his earthly body to his heavenly spirit.
