With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Lee Whitley (Muskogee, Oklahoma), born in Corning, New York, who passed away on March 13, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Tawney and James H. Tawney; and her brother Gerald "Mike" Tawney. She is survived by: her former husband Gerald V. Murphy, Jr.; her granddaughter Lillian Grace; her husband Sam (Sam K. Whitley); her daughter Tawnee Harding (Scott); her stepdaughter Barbara Lynch; and her granddaughters, Lillian Grace Rogers (Trey), Robin Brunner (Jim) and Ashleigh Kaiser (Matt). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
