He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Wells and Susie Wells; his daughter Julie Wells (Melinda Smith); his grandchildren, Logan Smith, Braden Wells and Landon Smith; his sisters, Betty Hill and Bert Childress; his wife Patty; and his son Tony. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
